This Moulton AM-ATB in Olive Green. caused a stir at when it was shown at the Bespoked show last year. It’s a new build of the 1988 Moulton AM-ATB assembled with mostly new old-stock parts that Moulton’s Dan Farrell has had sitting around his office since that time. It’s now on sale at £7500.

Much Ado About Nothing - RSC

Last month I watched the first Shakespeare play with a live audience at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon since the pandemic began. This afro-futurism version of Much Ado About Nothing was the most fun I’ve had at the RSC and it was great to see a younger and more diverse audience in Stratford too.

The production features costume designs by Melissa Simon-Hartman, who has designed for Beyoncé and Notting Hill Carnival, music by Nigerian-born British guitarist and MOBO award-nominated musician Femi Temowo whose past collaborators include Amy Winehouse and The Roots. But the big news is that Ann Ogbomo, who played Don Pedra (pictured below), owns a Pashley Princess.

The run has finished now but you can found out what’s coming up at the RSC here.

Khruangbin

I’m currently slightly obsessed with the band Khruangbin and a number of customers in the shop have commented on their music or asked who I’m playing. They are an American musical trio from Houston, Texas, known for blending global music influences, such as classic soul, dub, jazz, rock and psychedelia.
