Bulletproof by Pomplamoose

I happened upon these guys a while back whilst telling someone my favourite pop fact about Elly Jackson from the pop duo La Roux (who orginally recorded Bulletproof) - her mother played Sergeant June Ackland in 80s TV series The Bill - and whilst checking this fact for this post I’ve learned that Jackson's great grandfather was Anthony Bernard, the first musical director of the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon so there’s another pop fact to add to my repertoire. Pomplamoose are known for their viral YouTube videos and covers of popular songs from artists such as Radiohead, Moby, Jamiroquai, Bee Gees and more. I found them totally captivating - you have to watch them in the studio rather than just listen but be careful you don’t fall down a Pomplamoose rabbit hole.
