A versatile gravel bike that seamlessly blends our tradition for the finest UK craftsmanship with the latest in cutting-edge technology. Hand-brazed, TIG welded and silver soldered Reynolds 725, 631 and 525 double-butted steel tubes meet 3D-printed stainless-steel lugs, creating a durable yet refined frame. Paired with wide clearance, carbon fibre fork with tapered steerer, the XE is ready to explore every corner of the map — whether it's winding forest trails, rugged backroads, or long stretches of tarmac.
The Roadfinder XE’s geometry is carefully designed for stability and agility, while ample clearance accommodates knobbly 45c gravel tyres or road tyres and mudguards, ensuring year-round capability on all terrains. The oversized down tube delivers exceptional frame stiffness and subtly hides the 250Wh Mahle battery with an optional range extender also available, while the T47 bottom bracket enhances support and ensures clean, internal cable routing for an uncluttered aesthetic.
At its core, the Roadfinder XE is an adventurer’s dream. Equipped with a whisper-quiet and dynamic Mahle X20 rear hub motor, it offers up to 55Nm of smooth, intuitive assistance that complements your input rather than overpowering it. The lightweight (1.9kg) motor is laced into the rear wheel, ensuring the bike keeps a clean, streamlined look. Whether powered or unassisted, the Roadfinder XE’s performance-focused frame and 13kg weight make every ride a joy.
Riders can select their ideal drivetrain setup, from the dependable Shimano GRX 610 mechanical groupset with durable alloy wheels to high-performance Campagnolo Ekar or SRAM Rival AXS featuring wireless shifting, paired with hand-laced, aerodynamic 50mm carbon fibre wheels. All gear systems are driven by a 40T single ring front chainset with a narrow / wide tooth pattern for perfect off-road chain retention with an ultra-wide ratio rear cassette, whilst confidence-inspiring 160mm hydraulic disc brakes deliver control and stopping power, no matter the conditions.
Balancing comfort and performance, the Roadfinder XE features Zipp XPLR 70 handlebars, a Zipp Service Course stem, and a compliant 27.2mm Zipp Service Course seatpost. Topping it off is the all-weather Brooks C15 Cambium saddle, ready for long days on or off the road. Future-proofing the XE, we've built the frame with a 31.6mm dropper post compatible seat tube, ensuring you can tailor the bike to handle your adventures.

A unique tubular steel Porteur rack. Hand-made by Pashley, the design compliments the clean lines of your Pathfinder, Prospero or Pashley-Morgan, while enhancing utility. Finished in a durable powder coat paint it features a stainless-steel mounting bracket and four attachment points for fitting the Pashley Rack Bag (due 2024) or your own choice of basket or tray.
